The University of Cambridge is currently accepting applications from prospective postgraduate students who are interested in being considered for the Gates Cambridge Scholarship, which will provide complete funding for the student’s education at Cambridge beginning with the next academic year.
You need to finish the portion of the funding application where you apply for admission to a course and a college seat, as well as the part of the funding application where you apply for a Gates Cambridge scholarship, in order to be eligible for this financing program. When examining applicants, Gates Cambridge has access to the complete application for admission as well as the application for funding.
Instructions on How to Apply
The application process will involve applicants filling out a consolidated form. Applicants use the Graduate Application Portal provided by the university to submit their requests to be considered for admission and financing (both Gates Cambridge and any other funding).

The section on funding: In this area, you will find applications for a variety of funding opportunities made available by the University and other connected entities. These opportunities include the Gates Cambridge Scholarships, which have their own sub-section inside this section.
Requirements for Documentation In order to be considered for a Gates Cambridge Scholarship, you will be expected to produce the following materials:

Only a research proposal has to be submitted by PhD applicants to Gates Cambridge in order to be considered for funding. Gates Cambridge does not require any other application materials.
Gates Cambridge reference: In addition to two academic references, applicants for the Gates Cambridge Scholarship are required to submit a reference regarding how well they would match the requirements of the scholarship.
