I regret getting married in 2008 – Ini Edo

Iniobong Edo stated that she made an error by walking down the aisle.

Ini Edo, who married Philip Ehiagwina, an American industrialist, on November 29, 2008, regretted her decision.

The couple were married for five years before eventually divorcing in 2013.  In a recent interview with well-known media personality Chude Jideonwo, the actress stated that she got married due to “family pressure.”

She stated, “I wished I hadn’t gotten married because it wasn’t the best decision.”

The actress, however, stated that she would marry again “if the right person comes along.”

She stated that she chose surrogacy because she had numerous miscarriages.

She stated, “I chose surrogacy as a result of multiple miscarriages. And I simply grew weary of attempting.

“I do not have a spouse. So, I’m like, I want a child for myself regardless of whether I have a spouse. What other alternatives do I have? I desired for it to be my offspring. My embryos. Fortunately, my eggs are tasty. Therefore, I did that.”

In 2021, Ini Edo announced the birth of her first surrogate-born daughter.
