After participating in the recently concluded ‘A New Global Financing Pact’ summit in Paris, France, President Bola Tinubu will pay a private visit to London, United Kingdom (UK).

According to a statement released by his Special Adviser on Special Duties, Communication, and Strategy, Mr. Dele Alake, President Tinubu, who was originally scheduled to return to Abuja after the events in Paris, will arrive in London on Saturday.
The statement guaranteed that the President would return to Nigeria in time for the Eid-al-Kabir celebration.
“President Tinubu, who was originally scheduled to return to Abuja on Saturday, will now make a brief private visit to London, United Kingdom.

The President will return in time for the impending Eid-el-Kabir festival, according to the statement.
On the President’s trip to Paris, the statement read: “President Bola Tinubu on his visit to Paris”
Friday marked the conclusion of his official travel to Paris, France, where he participated in an outstanding manner in the summit for ‘A New Global Financing Pact’ hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron.

“In addition to his participation in the event, where he represented Nigeria well, President Tinubu held high-profile sideline meetings with fellow heads of state and government, global business leaders, and chief executives of the world’s leading multilateral and development finance institutions.
“The summit provided the President with the opportunity to project, on a global stage, his advocacy for expanding fiscal space, economic justice for Africa as the world accelerates the pace of energy transition, and the urgency of addressing the vexing problems of poverty and climate change.”
